The Astronomical Event of the CenturyThis is not an ordinary eclipse: we are looking at the longest total solar eclipse of the century in the region. Around10:45 AM, the Moon will completely block the Sun, giving usmore than 4 minutes of absolute darkness in the middle of the day. An International Brunch on BoardTo celebrate this historic milestone, we will enjoy a full international-style breakfast-brunch on board, carefully designed to satisfy all our travelers (British, German, French and Spanish). The experience includes a selection of fresh fruit, pastries, savory options, specialty coffee, tea and soft drinks, ideal for sharing in an unparalleled environment as we position ourselves for the great moment.

Guaranteed Safety and ComfortSafety is our top priority. Each passenger will be provided with special eclipse glasses approved and certified by ISO standards for 100% safe observation. You will sail accompanied by a professional skipper and an expert crew who will ensure that you only have to worry about enjoying and photographing the show.

What to bring

    🎒 Traveler's Essential List

    1. Sun Protection and Comfort

Although the eclipse will darken the day for a few minutes, the navigation will take place in the middle of August and the reflection of the sun in the sea is very intense.

    • Sunscreen: Preferably water resistant and friendly to the marine environment.
    • Conventional sunglasses: For the moments before and after the event (remembering that they are not good for looking at the eclipse directly).
    • Cap or hat: Essential to protect yourself from the sun during sailing hours (make sure it fits well so that it doesn't blow away the wind!).

    2. Appropriate Clothing and Footwear

The climate at sea can change rapidly, especially when the moon covers the Sun, since The temperature usually drops several degrees all at once throughout the entirety.

    • Lightweight outerwear: A windproof jacket, sweatshirt or fine jersey. The drop in temperature of the eclipse, combined with the sea breeze while sailing, can suddenly cool the environment.
    • Swimsuit and towel: In case the conditions and the route allow for a refreshing swim before or after the phenomenon.
    • Comfortable rubber-soled footwear: Nautical shoes or sneakers (avoid stiff heels or soles that may slip on the cover).

    3. Technology and Audio (Key!)

    • Own headphones: Essential if you are going to use the QR code audio guide system, so that they can listen to the explanation comfortably in their language without the sound of wind or engines.
    • Mobile phone with 100% battery: To scan the audio guide and take pictures of the environment (you can suggest that they bring an external battery or power bank if they have it).

    4. Onboard Wellness

    • Biodramine or pills for motion sickness: It is highly recommended that passengers who are not used to sailing take it about 30 minutes before boarding, especially if the ship is going to be standing/anchored during the eclipse, when the sway is most noticeable.
